Creamed Horseradish
Ingredients
- 3 1/2 ounces fresh horseradish root
- 2 teaspoons good vinegar, such as sherry
- 1 good teaspoon English mustard
- 1/2 cup crème fraîche
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Peel and finely grate the horseradish. Mix with the vinegar and mustard and leave to macerate for 10 minutes. Mix again. Stir in the crème fraîche and season to taste.
